• Trinity's Playground

    Trinity is very proud of our new inclusive playground. We have tried to meet, and where possible exceed, ADA standards so the Gainesville community could have a playground for children of all abilities to play together.
  • Revolution Inclusive Spinner

    With 4 different riding options, it is inclusive in that it has high backed seats to help those with limited muscle control and height is accessible for wheelchair transfer. Promotes physical development with different riding and spinning options.
  • Crooked House Chapel

    Designed with wider doorways for accessibility, inside children can create soothing music on the chimes providing auditory stimulation which can greatly benefit children with Sensory Processing Disorders.
  • Spinning Cup

    Gives vestibular input for children with sensory processing disorders.
  • Decorative Wood Signs with Bible verses

    They include the Bible verse in braille for the visually impaired.
  • Pipe organ & Ladybug Drum

    We have incorporated musical elements to encourage and support brain development. Children can feel the vibrations which is also beneficial to children with Sensory Processing Disorders.
  • Playground Hours

    Monday - Friday: 12:00pm -dusk
    Saturday: all day until dusk
    Sunday: 12:00pm - dusk
  • Oodle Swing

    Gives vestibular input for children with sensory processing disorders. It's accessible to enter from a wheelchair or walker and can hold multiple children at one time.
  • Upper Playground

    The upper playground has artificial turf for crawlers and new walkers. The surfacing is Forever Lawn which is synthetic grass that is ADA Accessible with a 12' fall zone.
  • Main play structure

    The largest structure on the playground with multiple slides, a bridge, and climbing structures promote physical agility and balance. The attached pirate ship also allows imaginative play and a ground level play area for accessibility.

  • Swing Set

    Contains 1 bucket swing for babies and toddlers, 2 regular flat swing seats, and 1 ADA Compliant Adaptive Swing Seat which has the benefits of a 5-point harness. It provides firm support for children with limited muscle control and also has a headrest.
  • Rock 'n Ship Glider

    This is a large pirate ship that is wheelchair accessible. This piece of equipment is inclusive in that it allows children with disabilities to play alongside able-bodied children at the same time. The ship gently glides back and forth-similar to gliding through water on a real boat. It is 70 sq. ft. of deck surface.
  • Lower Playground

    The lower playground surfacing contains mulch pine chips that are also ADA Accessible.
