Sometimes life throws us a curveball even when we think we have it all mapped out. Sometimes things just don’t go the way we had planned. That’s what happens again and again for the heroes of our faith in the Book of Genesis. For Noah, Abram, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph the journey is not always what they would have anticipated, yet through it all God seems to make a way. Join us for these summer Sundays to see what message God might have for you as you seek to make sense of your life’s unexpected journey.

The Seven Last Words of Christ…On Good Friday, churches often focus on those seven phrases Jesus spoke from the cross, his “last” words. Rarely though do we focus on the things that Jesus said after the resurrection. Like the Seven Last Words, these seven next words or conversations offer insight into the mind and heart of Jesus as he consoled, encouraged, and prepared his followers for ministry to the world. On Sundays from April 23 - June 4, we'll take a look at those powerful encounters and what author Shane Stanford calls the Seven Next Words of Christ. These “next words” are living words that leave us listening for what Christ will say to us today.
