Children’s After-School Sports

CrossTrainers

Crosstrainers after-school sports program (session A) - now through March 7

Crosstrainers meets Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday now through March 7. Pick what days work for your family! Crosstrainers is an action-packed sports experience, full of exercise and energy for elementary-aged children. We play and teach fundamentals for basic sports and large group games and experience daily devotionals. Crosstrainers is open to all children in Grades K-5 in the Gainesville area!

For children who attend Talbot Elementary, we will pick them up after school. REGISTER HERE!


Upward Sports: Basketball

Upward Basketball: The league will be for Kindergarten (age 5) through 8th grade children. All practices and games will take place at Westside Baptist Church (in the Family Life Center) for 9 weeks.

Main Details:

  • Practice nights are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Each child will practice on one of those evenings for an hour each week.

  • The day and time of their practice will be the same for the whole season.

  • As of now, middle school games will be played on Friday nights and everyone else will be played on Saturdays.

  • All practice and game days will be determined by registrants.

  • After you register you'll need to choose one of the below evaluations to attend. Each child will need to be evaluated in order to participate. All evaluations will take place in the Family Life Center at Westside Baptist Church. Come anytime between the times listed.

    Fridays, 6:00-7:30pm

    Saturdays, 9:00-10:30am

    Sundays, 2:00-3:30pm

Pickleball on the Trinity Sports Courts

Have you heard? Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the country...and now it's at Trinity! Join Pastor Emeritus Rev. Dr. Dan Johnson and friends every Thursday morning at 9:00am on our Northwest Sports Courts.

Exercise Class for Chronic Pain

This class is for those who find their lives limited by pain caused by arthritis, fibromyalgia, or other reasons. It will be a combination of yoga, stretching, strength-building and balance exercises that will help participants live with less pain. Bring a small towel, water bottle, and yoga mat, and wear comfortable clothing. We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Youth Building. Senior Activities

Slow-Pitch Softball

Slow Pitch Softball meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 am on the Softball Fields in the back of Trinity’s NW Campus. Slow-Pitch Softball is open to everyone ages 55 years and up. Come and join us!
