Sunday

Pentecost Sunday, May 19

Series: “This We Believe: The Apostles’ Creed"
Title: "Yes, We're the Church Together"
Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-6
By: Rev. Steve Price

If I'm a Methodist, why am I saying I believe in the "holy catholic church?" Perhaps you've wondered this when reciting the Apostles' Creed before. Join us this weekend as we explore what this phrase from the creed is telling us, as well as what it means to believe in the "communion of saints."

Worship with us in-person on Sundays at 8:00 AM Traditional, Chapel | 9:30 AM Modern & 11:00 AM Traditional, Worship Center | or worship with us online anytime.

Sunday Classes | 9:30 & 11:00 am

These classes will give you the opportunity to grow in your faith, make new friends and receive encouragement and support in a smaller group setting with others who have similar interests.

For more information, contact Margaret Myers (mmyers@trinitygnv.org).

Community Conversation | This Sunday, May 19 at 12:15pm

Join us this Sunday for a Community Conversation where you'll have a chance to hear a recap of the UMC General Conference from earlier this month. In addition, some new information about our District and Annual Conference will be shared as well as some recent signs of health and vitality within Trinity. The session will last an hour and a time for questions will be included. For those staying (or returning from earlier in the morning), light refreshments will be available immediately following the 11am service.

Missions

This week's mission focus is on tuition assistance for our own Stepping Stones Preschool.

As a school, we have the opportunity to minister to families throughout our community on a daily basis. Many of our families, like many of us, are feeling the effects of the economy during these times. Our mission this week is to be able to increase our funding to provide additional tuition assistance to families in need so that we may continue to provide high quality childcare for their children and ease the burden of tuition expenses while they work to provide income for their homes.

Only 2 weeks left to collect non-perishable food to restock Gainesville Community Ministries pantry.

Please bring your donations and drop them in a blue bin ASAP!

For more information, contact Kelly Ping (kping@trinitygnv.org).

We have 5 spots left on our mission trip to Guatemala this October. It's a part medical/part stove build. For more information, contact Kelly Ping (kping@trinitygnv.org).
