“This We Believe: The Apostles’ Creed”

Sunday, April 28

Title: “Worth a Thousand Words”
Scripture:
Matthew 16:13-16 & Hebrews 1:1-3a
Message By:
Rev. Catherine Fluck Price

We're all searching. Sometimes the search is as easy as a click of a button. But sometimes our questions are complicated, and the answers are difficult to see and harder to articulate. How do we discover and examine the truths that give meaning and purpose to life? Some of the foundational answers can be found in the Apostles’ Creed. This Creed contains the basics of Christian faith which have remained the same for centuries. For the next several weeks we’ll explore the most important elements of our faith, talk about some essential truths that may be unfamiliar, and consider how to know what’s at the core of Christianity and what’s outside the center? Come join us on Sundays to learn more.

Worship with us in-person on Sundays at 8:00 AM Traditional, Chapel | 9:30 AM Modern & 11:00 AM Traditional, Worship Center | or worship with us online anytime.

Faith Mission | The Cost of Poverty

The Cost of Poverty will be Saturday, April 27, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Faith Mission

Free to attend, registration is required.

Every day significant challenges are faced by low-income families. Can people who haven’t faced such challenges develop a greater understanding that helps lead to positive change? Yes, we can learn to serve one another with dignity and effectiveness. It might, however, take a willingness to step into another person’s shoes.

The Cost of Poverty Experience is a simulation that offers a glimpse into obstacles faced and decisions that have to be made by families every day in and around Gainesville.

Faith Mission is proud to offer the Cost of Poverty Experience for the 7th year. Join us for this very impactful workshop on Saturday, April 27, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, at Faith Mission (3701 NE 15th St). There is no cost to attend. Limited to the first 40 participants who register.

Please contact Meghan Williams at mwilliams@trinitygnv.org with any questions.
