Brian Wittstruck

Director of Children & Family Ministries

Born in South Florida, Brian’s family moved to Gainesville when he was 2 years old and began attending Trinity with his family. As a young person, Brian was extremely involved in Trinity’s youth group. Upon graduating from college, he was hired as Trinity’s Director of High School Ministry in 1994. He worked at First United Methodist Church in Chiefland, Florida as the youth and contemporary worship director in the late 1990s and returned to Trinity in 1999 as the Director of Youth Ministries. His primary work experience has been at Trinity, having served in youth ministry, college ministry, and since 2012, Children and Family ministries. Brian has always enjoyed the relational aspect of ministry and teaching. Brian and his wife, Sarah, have a son, Will, who is a student at Florida Gulf Coast University, and a daughter, Catie, who is in high school. For fun, Brian enjoys playing guitar, walking his dog, and watching sports (especially when his children play). Brian also enjoys listening to Tom Petty and cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays and Florida Gators.
