Title: “Renew Hope”
By:
Rev. Steve Price

This month, as we launch our churchwide theme for 2025, we'll explore what it looks like for us to RENEW our hearts and lives as followers of Jesus. We'll focus specifically on ways we can renew faith, renew hope, and renew love as members of the body of Christ here at Trinity. We look forward to seeing you for worship!

Sunday coffee volunteers: First impressions are very important! Come out and join us for our coffee ministry team. We set up at the Welcome Center in front of the Worship Center at 8:45 AM and clean up at 11:15 AM. For more information, contact Missi Newbauer at 352-416-3027 or (newbauer@trinitygnv.org).

Missions

This week's Mission Focus is on ZOE Empowers. ZOE's vision is to see a world where all orphans and vulnerable children become secure, healthy, connected, and able to care for themselves and their siblings. ZOE reaches out in love to all vulnerable children and those wishing to partner with them so they may experience the love of God with physical, social, psychological, and spiritual healing. Please stay tuned on Sunday, we have some exciting news about a new opportunity!

The January blue bin will support Anew. They are in need of female pajama sets, leggings, full size shampoo & conditioner, body wash, lotion, feminine hygiene products, and hair accessories. Please place these in the blue bins in the Narthex or Education Building Lobby.

February 2025 Wednesday Series, 6:35 PM, Trinity Chapel

Empowered by Grace: Exploring Wesleyan Theology through the lives of Black Women Preachers - Come and grow in your faith as you learn more about John Wesley’s religious perspective and the role of Black Women in American religion. In this series to celebrate Black History month, Dr. Bobbi Korner will combine her work as a Methodist Lay Speaker and as a performing artist to make women’s history come alive. This series will provide background on John Wesley’s anti-slavery stance and his openness to women preachers when many other church leaders used scripture to sustain slavery and denounce women in the pulpit.
