David Golden

Accompanist

David Golden grew up in Oregon City, Oregon, and earned a Master of Music degree from the University of Oregon in Eugene. He began playing the organ for a small UMC when he was a teenager in 1974, and now in 2024 is celebrating 50 years of leadership in music ministry! He moved to Florida in 2006, and has two sons: Matthew (about to enter his second year at the University of Florida), and Michael (about to begin his senior year at Keystone Heights HS). David teaches chorus and guitar half time at Keystone Heights HS, and gives private lessons, mostly on piano and guitar. David enjoys many styles of music, and attends as many concerts as he can afford. You can follow his musical pursuits on his YouTube channel: Mr. Golden's Musical Adventure. He also enjoys running, hiking, kayaking, and travel. In the past, he was an avid bicycle tourist, pedaling across the country from Massachusetts to Oregon in 1984, and from Portland, Oregon to Fairbanks, Alaska in 1988.
