The Cost of Poverty Experience is a simulation that offers a glimpse into obstacles faced and decisions that have to be made by families every day in and around Gainesville. Participants face real-life scenarios during a simulated month of time and the experience exposes barriers, reasons for frustration and confusion, and results of difficult choices.
Our next Cost of Poverty Experience will be in Spring 2024.
